Qualified 2nd out of 41 class1's and trophy trucks on Thursday. Missed the pole by .4 seconds.


Race day was cut real short for us though, electrical issues took us out at mile 43. Car didn't even start when we left the line. The alternator killed the batteries. So we changed alt and put 2 new batteries in it and 40 miles later same thing. Must be a short or something we haven't had time to look at it yet.

But we partied like we won that's for sure drank audios mother fucker's for 4 days straight. I even got cut off at the casino bar. Cut off in vegas now that's gettin it done


Anyway the car is still pretty much fully prepped besides our little issue, we might race the ORAF race in lucerne next month for some seat time under the lights to get the kid used to it for vegas to reno


B.T.W. the guy that beat us by .4 seconds to steal the pole is a 15 year old kid. I think a changing of the guard is comin soon for class 1

Ray is kicking butt.  Qualifying 2nd in his 2nd Class 1 race?   
I also saw the guy who qualified 1st is only 15...a definite changing of the guard.

The car is at straight edge getting some new paint. Gonna be black and red with a little silver. Straight edge did our rhino about a year ago they do amazing work

Was he down off Bonita on the edge of La Verne? I think I know a bunch of guys that had there helmets done by him. Nice guy.

Well it's official we signed up for vegas to reno in august. I think this year it's 570 miles

We tested yesterday the car ran great. Played with the new kings alittle more got'em workin way better. Adjusted the front ride height up a few inches, found that 1 of our radiator fans isn't workin. But the kid was haulin the mail, super fast. Only a few minor tweaks on tap before the race definately a great day.

Vegas to Reno this year is 535 miles with 16 pits. We qualify wednesday August 18th and race friday August 20th. If we can get this thing to the finish with no issues got a good chance at  a great finish

Well we got everything all loaded up and the car is ready to go. We leave tueaday morning

Tue we stay at buffallo bills

Wed we qualify at buffallo bills then head into vegas were we stay at alienta casino were they are having a huge party were they announce who did what at qualifying

Thurs we have tech and contingency there at the alienta casino and then we head to phrump

Fri we leave the start line aroun 9:30

If the plan works out as it we hope it does we will be in reno sometime late friday night were we stay fri and sat

Sunday we make the trek home
