This event is super organized.  They put on a great raffle.  Jake won tires a few years ago.

It's weird that the Sidewinders Run doesn't give you specific names of the trails and whether they're easy or difficult plus what the mandatory requirements are. Ex: Shitball Trail requires 35inch tires, winch and 2 lockers.

The cool thing is when you sign up for trails they have a wide range of difficulty. From a graded dirt road to "Absolutely F-ed" trails.

I knew last year we were going to get a run for our money when the trail boss looked at Rubijon's rig and said, "You can't go, without a winch"

The last day we were there last year my wife and I decided to take a easy day and go run one of the easier trails. The trail boss ended up rolling over and we had to lead everyone out.

Plus the campground we stay in has good hospitality, but I hear the campground owners son-in-law is a real dolt.  Grey Grin

We haven't signed up yet but this is one that we will for sure go to. We went in 2007 and 2009 and had a lot of fun. If you aren't sure, you can sign-up when you get there (thats what we did the other 2 times that we went).

Hey. You better be nice to the campgrounds son-in-law or your reservation might get cancelled.
